Holman's are delighted to announce the appointment of Gary Davis.

Gary joined from BESSO, where he was responsible for producing and developing an account of Delegated Authorities for Retail and Wholesale Brokers, and also MGA arrangements.

Gary's role will be working with our Brokers who have special expertise or volume opportunities and need more power to demonstrate their experience with new and existing clients.

' More and more Brokers are building unique scheme expertise, developing their business volume in niche or special risk areas. They are often frustrated by the obstacles of answering similar questions on the same type of risks to Underwriters who do not have their expertise in the area concerned.

Where Brokers have that expertise, it is only right that the Broker should have the power to write the business for the benefit of all concerned.

Gary will provide the link between Broker and Underwriter, first finding the Underwriter with the right appetite and enthusiasm, and then dealing with the technical arrangements to put delegated authority in the hands of the Broker.'

' This is a tremendous opportunity to develop my existing schemes and seek out new facilities with probably the biggest Broker base of any London Market Broker. I am tremendously impressed with Holman's standing and reputation.
