Holman’s have been helping to protect clients’ interests since 1832, when John Holman set up the West of England Protection and Indemnity Club, the parent of all modern P&I Clubs.

The origins of the present company of John Holman & Sons Ltd are from a partnership registered in 1850, which moved to the City of London in 1860 and became incorporated as a limited company in 1900.

Nowadays, from our offices in the City of London we provide London Market facilities for a network of over 5,000 independent brokers and intermediaries into both Lloyd’s and the Company market.
