Holman's has taken the schemes director from rival RK Harrison to head up its newly-formed binding authority division.
Will Caldwell was a director in RK Harrison's Bedford office where he was responsible for the underwriting and operational management of the company's schemes division - leading a team of 25 staff with premium income of around £15m.
Andrew Holman , chief executive of Holman's, explained that the firm's binder business became operational on 14 August with products including household, yacht, travel, gap and various other schemes. "Will is a great find for us," he said. "He has tremendous experience of schemes business and knows the industry inside-out. We're delighted to have him on board and look forward to growing the division under his stewardship."
